As a child, I performed for the first time solo at the age of five. It was then that I knew singing was what I wanted to do. I continued my musical journey with private vocal lessons with my elementary school teacher Miss Young who gave me my second solo. I will be forever grateful to her and to my family for their support. I started watching shows like star search, American Idol, and Americas got talent wondering what it would be like to win. I wanted to try out For Star Search but my mother never took me to audition. I even had my audition song picked out. I continued my regular education and took choir classes all the way up through Senior year when I got the chance to sing in our schools contest choir, The Music Masters. After high school I attended a local community college where I majored in music land learned some music theory, piano, and continued my vocal training. I left collage realizing that what I wanted to do was perform but I never took the opportunity to find ways to do so. I continued to listen to my Idols. Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Michael Jackson, Brian McKnight, Usher, Beyonce, Lady Gaga and so many others. After battling with ADHD, drinking, depression, and anxiety I finally decided to release my album Versatility. An Ode to my experiences and to the many genres of my many idols. I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it and share my music with my loved ones and the world. Please listen to and or purchase my album below and on other major platforms.
